Granted UFC's stock did rise with the buyout of pride by bringing in names like Nogueira, Silva and Rampage, but the UFC has almost turned into a MMA monopoly. I think it's good to have competition between two major companies -- sorta like the prime of the WWF vs WCW war. When the WWF bought out the WCW wrestling wasn't the same anymore

When the WWF bought out the WCW wrestling wasn't the same anymore Not totally, this Affliction show and Elite is getting counterprogrammed by UFC so they are competition. Maybe not as much Elite as Affliction, but Elite did take a primetime slot on CBS. Not to mention, took a lot of MMA pub with Kimbo.

Fuck competition, I want to see the best fighters fight each other not supar competition in different promotions
