Lets start off with the only Rap Album....
Paper Trail: This CD has to be one of T.I.'s best CDs to date. The tracks are all excellently produced. He has the right guests on the right tracks, From On Top of the World featuring Ludacris to Live Ya Life with Rihanna who can be just as annoying as the Numa Numa song itself but it fits so well!! My Life Your Entertainment ft. Usher is that nice smooth R&B song you would dance to in the club. Swing Ya Rag is the hood sophisticated song talkin bout how he got the money to just buy a LV rag to swing it. This is Lean Back 2.0.... Except it has better lyrics. Swagga Like Us... Do I need to talk about this song? Four of the best right now talking bout how they have the best swagga eva!! Slide Show feature John Legend, not as good as the Usher song but its still a great song. And to finish off the CD, what has to be my favorite song of all... Dead and Gone ft. Justin Timberlake. Its a tribute to his dead homie Philant Jackson but the song itself is so cool and smooth. The other tracks that need to be heard that are T.I. solos are all of them. This CD get 4.5/5 stars... Its a Classic, just as good or better then Wayne's CD.
Something Else: Robin Thicke is back and he is channeling the classic Jazz tunes. Every track is an old school bast from the past. Everyone loved Magic but there are so many Gems on this CD that its a buy just because of what he did on it. He also has Tie My Hands from Wayne's CD showing that the two are still on the best of terms. Its also the only Song with a guest appearance by anyone. Tracks like Sweetest Love and Cry No More are the kind of tracks you mind find putting you in the mood to make you some babies. Almost a Classic, and keeps my faith in the artist formerly known as Thicke. 3.5/5 Second best R&B CD of the Year.
Year of the Gentlemen: Now let me start by saying that I don't like Ne-Yo.. I respect his music but he just doesn't come off like a guy I would want to chill with. Anyway to his CD, this is the Best R&B CD I have heard this Year. Year of the Gentlemen is his best CD to date. Every single song is awesome, there is no song you would want to skip because it sounds bad or it gets old fast. Each song reminds you of a different moment in your life. We all know about Closer and Miss Independent but the other songs are MAD!! Why does she stay is a very Usher song that Ne-Yo eats and destroys. Lie to Me is one of the those that you can relate to cause who would want to know that their girl is cheating? You say you do, but you don't. Its a better version of Mario Winans old song I don't wanna know. Single is that anthem all you single Women need. So yeah I hate you Ne-Yo but your CD is fire.. Better then Usher's and I'm an Usher fiend... So yeah 5/5. CD is perfect... Can not lie.
